Camiel Fortgens B.V. is an Amsterdam-based clothing brand founded in 2014 by Camiel Fortgens, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven. Untarnished by traditional fashion education, Fortgens approaches design from a fresh perspective, free from the constraints of conventional fashion norms. The brand embraces the unpolished nature of people and their social behavior, using clothing and imagery as tools to challenge established notions of normalcy. Through reconstructed, unpolished wearable pieces, Camiel Fortgens B.V. explores shapes, fabrics, and details to create a unique aesthetic that defies convention and celebrates individuality.
